Moodle

Ask Claude what’s due, how you did and what changed in your courses. It reads your Moodle through the official app interface and downloads course files for you. Read-only: it never submits or posts anything.

Install

  1. Open Claude CodeIn the Claude desktop app, open the Code tab. Regular chats can’t install software on your computer.
  2. Paste this promptClaude installs everything and opens Moodle in your browser.
Install the Moodle MCP server for me by following https://raw.githubusercontent.com/EmreAI/claude-mcp/main/moodle-mcp/INSTALL_WITH_CLAUDE.md. My Moodle is https://moodle.novasbe.pt
  3. Log in and copy the linkLog in to Moodle as usual. On the page with the Continue button, don’t click it, because it’s meant for the Moodle phone app. Right-click it and copy the link. Claude picks it up by itself and finishes the setup.
  4. Restart ClaudeQuit and reopen the desktop app, then ask: “What’s due in Moodle this week?”

Claude reads the copied link from your clipboard and then clears it, so your login never appears in the chat. Needs Python 3.10 or newer; Claude asks before installing it. Not at Nova SBE? Change the address in the prompt.

Your data

  2. Token stays localYour Moodle token is saved only in your Claude config, never in the download or on GitHub. Treat it like a password.
